The Welsh international that is Gareth Bale is one of the fastest soccer players in the world. What makes Bale so special is that he is just not pace, but he also has world class talent on the pitch. Playing at one of the best clubs in the world, Real Madrid, Bale is watched on the main stage by millions. One of Bale’s greatest goals occurred in the Copa Del Rey final against Barcelona where he was nudged off the pitch but managed to sprint past Barcelona centre-back Marc Bartra and score. This was a real justification of how fast Bale is. Gareth Bale on the field has a top speed of 34.7 km/h or 21.6 mph. When Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo both retire from soccer, Bale will be competing for the Ballon d’Or. You can buy Bale’s Real Madrid jersey HERE.
The Dortmund striker shows his insane pace in every game he plays. He once ran 30 meters in only 3.7 seconds! Real Madrid has been trying to sign him recently because he has much more potential than Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata. Aubameyang’s card in FIFA’s game mode, Ultimate Team, is the closest thing to a cheat code in the game. With his pace, no defenders can match up with his pace and strength. Aubameyang and Borussia Dortmund always put up a fight against even the toughest of teams such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. In the Champions League group stage, Dortmund managed to draw with the Spanish club. In the Bundesliga, Dortmund recently beat the German giants that are Bayern Munich. You can buy Aubameyang jerseys HERE.
After moving from AS Roma to Juventus last Summer, I was very happy for Pjanic because he has always been one of my favorite soccer players. After discovering him on the game FIFA, I used him in some of my teams. He was a complete beast in the game because of his free-kick ability and his long shots. He is one of the best free-kick takers in the game statistically and he was the best at taking long shots in my opinion. From using him in the video game, I knew I had to watch him play in real life.
After watching a couple of his games playing at Juventus, I was happy at how good he was in real life too. It was pleasantly surprising to see that he was not only good in the video game, but also in real life. With the world record transfer of Paul Pogba to Manchester United, Pjanic is seeing a lot of playing time in the midfield. Currently, Pjanic has already 13 goals and 4 assists for Juventus with more success to surely come. You can buy Pjanic’s Juventus jersey HERE.
2) Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
Leading all of the Premier League in assists with his club, Manchester City, Kevin De Bruyne is a favorite for most soccer fans. Being only 25 years old, the Belgian international has a lot of time to improve his game even more. With the new manager, Pep Guardiola, De Bruyne and Manchester City hope to fight for the Premier League title this year. I have always been a fan of Manchester City and the Belgium national team. Whenever I would see Manchester City playing on tv, I would be rooting for them to win. I started to like the Belgian national team because I used to use them in FIFA. The Belgium national team has young, amazing talent. With attacking players such as Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne will be the man to send them through to score a goal. You can buy your own Kevin De Bruyne jersey for Manchester City HERE.
3) Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
As some of you could have guessed, Cristiano Ronaldo is my favorite soccer player. The sole reason I am a Real Madrid fan is because of him. Each season, Ronaldo continues to be arguably the best player in the world. After winning the Champions League and the EUROs this year, Ronaldo will be a favorite to win the Ballon d’Or this year. At age 31, Cristiano and his club, Real Madrid, are at currently sitting at the top of the table above rivals Barcelona. Madrid is currently unbeaten and they hope to continue this streak with their tough game this Saturday against Barcelona. Cristiano leads all of La Liga with 10 goals this season and he hopes this will help him on Saturday against Barcelona in the first El Clasico of the season. You can buy Ronaldo’s Real Madrid home jersey HERE.
After winning the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the German National team looks to repeat in the next World Cup in Russia. They will be wearing these beautiful, clean home jerseys for the World Cup qualifiers this year. I hope they continue to wear these home jerseys for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Their home jersey is white like always but this year decided to add a clean design to the front. I personally love jerseys that incorporate shapes into their design. In all clothes, certain shapes have a nice look to them. If you want to rep this jersey for the next World Cup, you can buy it HERE.
2) Juventus Home 16/17
Currently sitting at the top of the table in the Serie A, Juventus wears these original home jerseys. They really did not change much about their jerseys from last years. The only thing they changed is the size of the vertical black and white stripes. They increased the size of them meaning there are fewer stripes on the jersey, thus making the jersey much cleaner. Last years Juventus home jersey looked very similar to the A.C. Milan home jersey because of the small sized stripes. Now, Juventus’ jersey has a more distinct look. You can buy the jersey HERE.
3) Paris Saint-Germain Third 16/17
This jersey has always been one of my favorite for this season because of how clean and simple everything is. The colors are simply white with black lettering. There is no stand-out design on the jersey which makes the jersey super clean. My favorite part of this jersey is the shiny and reflective white Paris Saint-Germain logo in the upper left chest area. Last Summer, my family and I visited Paris, France for our family vacation. We stayed there for a week, but unfortunately, the Ligue 1 season had not started yet. From walking around the city of Paris, there were many soccer stores selling jerseys from all over. Over in the United States, you rarely see a store dedicated specifically to selling soccer jerseys. Anyways, the jerseys they were selling were too expensive so I did not buy any, but from walking around in Paris, I saw many people of all ages and genders wearing Paris Saint-Germain gear. If you love this jersey as much as I do, you can buy it HERE just in time for the holiday season!
If you really want to represent your country in style, this is the jersey to buy. You will be able to show off to your friends and the best part about the jersey is that it is a part of history. Being so old, the jersey has a simple and clean design with the famous red, white, and blue color combination. You can buy the jersey HERE.
2) Real Madrid Home Jersey 15/16:
This is not necessarily an old jersey since it is only from last season, but I had to put it on the list because it is my favorite team and one of my favorite jerseys in general. I prefer this jersey much more than the current Real Madrid home jersey because this one does not have a collar and it has a better design. For the 2016/17 Madrid home jersey, I do not like the blue lettering in the back. The 15/16 jersey has a much cleaner look and the font of the lettering looks much nicer. You can buy this jersey HERE.
3) Club America Third Jersey 15/16:
I know, I know, it’s another recent jersey. This one just looks too good not to include in any of my top lists. It has a similar look to the UNAM third jersey, but this one has less design and more focus on colors. I always say that the fewer adverts on the jersey, the better, but in this case, I actually like how the logos of the adverts in the front of the jersey look. The Huawei logo looks very nice on a soccer jersey for some reason. Again, this jersey has an amazing color combination of the black design with the solid white. You can buy this jersey HERE.
I simply can not get enough of this jersey. I love everything about it. I love the color scheme and the designs on the front, back, and sides of the jersey. I have talked more about this jersey in my blog post here. You can buy this jersey HERE.
2) Bayern Munich:
The German powerhouse makes their way into my list of best looking away jerseys. for the 2016/17 season, they came out with a different colorway. This jersey from top to bottom goes from a light gray color to a black color. My favorite colors to wear are gray and black so there is no reason this jersey wouldn’t be on my list. The jersey has a clean look and has a nice design in the front. You can buy this jersey HERE.
The Popular Portuguese team makes their way into my list again with their beautiful away jersey. I like the small star design on the front of the jersey. I also love the colors they used for this jersey. It complements itself very well with the color of the lettering with the color of the jersey. I talked more about this jersey in my other blog post that you can read here. You can buy this jersey HERE.
For the 2016/17 season, Manchester City decided to have their logo changed. This caused a lot of controversy from their fans. Despite this change, City managed to produce yet again another beautiful home jersey. They stuck to the traditional light blue color and added a darker blue color spanning from the sleeves to the back of the neck. If you are a fan of wearing Nike gear like myself, then this jersey might be right for you! There is something special about having this logo on your clothes that is impossible to comprehend. I am personally not a fan of the color blue, but when I see so many people in public wearing this jersey, I can’t help but hop on the bandwagon. You can buy this jersey HERE.
2) Manchester United:
The Red Devils kept to their roots with their traditional red color for their home jersey. This year, they divided the jersey vertically having one side be a darker red than the other. Their jersey is very clean and the design directly in the middle of the puts the icing on the cake for me. I personally love the jersey because my favorite color is red and it has a clean design. You can buy this jersey HERE.
3) Paris Saint-Germain:
The French giants that are Paris Saint-Germain haven’t changed their jersey design too much. Regardless, it still has a clean look to it. It has a nice navy blue color with thin red stripes splitting the jersey vertically, like the Manchester United jersey from before. Paris Saint-Germain are competing at the top of the table in Ligue 1 like always. They now have help from Hatem Ben-Arfa which is helping from the summer transfer of star player Zlatan Ibrahimovic. You can buy this jersey HERE.
I’m guessing most of you have never heard of this team before. The UNAM Pumas are a Mexican club. The only reason I knew about this team is because when I’d be playing games of FIFA, I would see people using their jerseys in the game and they looked so good. Their distinct logo is centered and very large on the jersey. As you may know already, I love the color combination of black and white. This is a big reason as to why I have picked this jersey to be at the top of my list. It is a clean and low-key jersey if you wear it in public. The only thing which will stand out is the logo in the front. The design on the sleeves adds a lot to the jersey design, but still keeping the clean look. I also really like how there are only a couple of adverts on the front of the jersey. Having too many will look cluttered and unorganized. Instead, they intelligently put the other adverts on the sleeves. You can buy the jersey HERE
2) PUMA Chivas 16/17 Away Jersey:
Chivas are yet another Mexican club coming out of nowhere with a good looking jersey. I might have to get into watching the Mexican league because of their nice jerseys! Chivas bring us a super clean away jersey for the 2016/17 season. With only one advert in the front, the small PUMA logo, this jersey is very neat and clean. The diagonal stripe of red and navy across the torso helps maintain the clean design of the jersey. This stripe goes through their team logo making the logo really pop out. Like the UNAM jersey, Chivas put the other adverts on the left sleeve of the jersey. Again, doing this keeps the clean design of the jersey which really appeals to me. You can buy the jersey HERE
3) Porto 16/17 Away Jersey:
I know what you’re saying, finally something other than a Mexican club. Well, this time we have a Portuguese team on the list. Porto is a well-known club to all Portuguese people around the world. Their away jersey has a clean look again, but this time the jersey is black instead of white. My favorite parts about the jersey are the color, Porto’s logo, and the star design in the front. I also like how there is only one advert on the front of the jersey; New Balance logo. To match the colors of the jersey, the designers changed the colors of Porto’s logo which blend together nicely.
